What We’re Doing
Our vision is to create a true community center – a gathering place for the neighborhood and the Lansing community, and a hub for youth tennis and education programming for the city. We know our tennis-based youth development programs can improve the mental, emotional, and social health of our participants as well as improve educational outcomes. By renovating Letts, we hope to serve more kids than ever!
Projects for stage one includes:
Demolition of current courts and development of six state-of-the art courts with lighting
Building an additional court or two
Interior building updates to create a welcoming environment for kids and parents
Funding for increased programming
Current Status
We are currently in the process of fundraising through applying for grants as well as gathering donations. In addition, we are in talks with local architects to discuss the scope and needs for the renovation process.
