VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Todd Martin Youth Leadership needs volunteers year round in both tennis and tutoring. Please contact Executive Director Rebecca Johnson if you are interested in volunteering. Refer to the Volunteer Resources below for more information.
Tutoring:
Provide homework and tutoring help in core subjects for school age students.
Integrate life skills into each tutoring session.
Communicate and coordinate with Tutoring Coordinator about student progress, concerns, questions, and absences.
During pick up at end of tutoring session, communicate with parent regarding their student progress during tutoring session.
Tennis:
Follow lesson plans provided by Tennis Program Director.
Provide a safe environment for all participants, staff and volunteers by ensuring that all equipment is utilized for its intended purpose.
Familiarize oneself with the tennis progressions, including different ball types and racquet sizes.
Integrate life skills into each tennis session.
