tennis Instructor
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tennis instruction in a positive, fun environment with as much individual attention as possible.
Utilize the USTA’s Net Generation Program and tennis progressions to provide tennis instruction to participants ages 6-18
Develop lesson plans for drills and activities on court and coordinate with other instructors
Deliver leadership/life skills activities and reinforce themes.
Model and provide life skills and leadership for all participants.
Provide mentoring to participants as needed.
Be a self-starter and a leader at all times.
Model and act with respect towards all participants, fellow staff and parents.
Communicate, as needed, with parents of participants
Respect all TMYL equipment and supplies by assisting with set up of program before sessions begin; including equipment storage and cleanup following sessions.
Pay: starting at $13/hr depending on experience

Junior coach
Key Responsibilities:
Learn the USTA’s Net Generation curriculum and tennis progressions for tennis instruction
Assist Mentor Coach in delivering drills and activities on court; and, as you are ready, prepare and develop lesson plans
Assist with delivery of Life Skills/Leadership lessons
Set and monitor bi-weekly and summer-long goals (personal and professional) with Mentor Coach
Engage in bi-weekly check-in meetings with Mentor Coach and Executive Director/Tennis Program Director
Keep detailed records of your time and activities/skills completed
Salary: $11/hr.

Virtual Tutor
Key Responsibilities:
COMMUNICATION:
Coordinate with participant's parent to determine regular days/times for tutoring
Send calendar invite to established days/times to parent(s) and child as a reminder
Provide ongoing updates to parent/guardian about participant's progress, goals, etc.
Check in regularly with Tutoring Coordinator about status and concerns
TUTORING:
Provide 2 hours of tutoring support per week per student
Adequately prepare for each session
Assist participant in completing school and homework assignments
Assist participant in making progress on online reading and math programs
Provide academic tutoring help in core subjects
MISC. RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrate life skills into each session, including completing activities from the life skills binder/curriculum
Serve as a mentor and role model
Pay: starting at $13/hr depending on experience
