TMYL summer tennis & Leadership program details:
Join us for a summer of tennis, life skills, and a lot of fun! We welcome any players ages 6-18 years old and of any skill level! A few details to note about this summer:
Programming will take place at two sites: Letts Community Center & Eastern Sports Complex.
On Mondays, participants will hear from community leaders who will reinforce the weekly leadership themes.
Each participant will receive a free TMYL t-shirt!
There will be three field trips over the course of the summer:
All participants MUST have a completed permission slip on Trax (completed during registration) in order to attend
There is no extra cost to attend field trips or register for weeks that include field trips
Participants arrive at Letts at 8:30am and depart at 9:00am
Participants return to Letts by 3:30pm
Participants should wear their yellow 2026 TMYL shirt
Transportation is provided via bus by Dean Transportation
Lunch is provided on the trip; alternatives will be made available for those with dietary restrictions
TMYL Coaches and Staff attend field trips as chaperones
An email and/or text will be sent on Thursday before the Friday trip to the parent/guardian of all participants who have completed the permission slip and will be attending the field trip
There will also be an End of Summer Carnival the last day of programming, open to everyone who has participated throughout the summer regardless of signing up for the last week of camp.
2026 dates:
NATIONAL JUNIOR TENNIS AND LEARNING (AGES 6-18)
Instruction will focus on developing beginner and intermediate players in practice and competition settings. Participants will engage in daily rotations of tennis instruction, life skills and leadership development, and academic enrichment, ensuring a well-rounded experience that supports growth on and off the court. Programming is organized around weekly themes that reinforce leadership concepts and personal development.
The program will meet every day regardless of weather, with indoor programming provided as needed. Field trips will be offered on select weeks (weeks 3, 5, and 7); participation is optional, and no onsite tennis programming will be held on field trip days.
Cost: $30/Lansing Resident; $36/Non-Lansing Resident PER WEEK
Locations: Letts Community Center or Eastern Sports Complex
Days: Mondays - Fridays
Times: 9:00am-12:00pm (Ages 6-10) & 12:30pm-3:30pm (Ages 11-18)

Local Excellence (Middle/High School, Ages 11-18)
This tennis program is designed for middle and high school students (ages 11-18) with previous experience in tournament and/or competitive play who are looking to not only better their game, but gain valuable leadership, team building, and life skills. Players will improve advanced skill technique, conditioning and match strategy while having fun.
Cost: $76/Lansing Resident; $114/Non-Lansing Resident PER WEEK
Locations: Eastern Sports Complex
Days: Mondays - Fridays

Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change! If you need to cancel your child’s registration, please let us know at least one week before the program begins. At that time, we’ll be happy to issue a credit to your account that can be used toward a future TMYL program. Once the program has started, we are unable to offer refunds or credits.
By registering your child for this program, you are granting Todd Martin Youth Leadership permission to use your child’s likeness in a photograph/video or comments/quotations made by your child or yourself about the program in any and all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other considerations.
